We always like to stay up on current trends at Sugar and Spice, Pontypridd’s number one toy shop. In recent months, we’ve started stocking some brand new product ranges, but we’ve also had some exciting restocks and brand new products from tried and trusted favourites.

Our newest arrivals range from the sweet and undeniably cute to the slightly macabre and weirdly wonderful. We have some highly collectable toys that we know will delight our customers of all ages. Dinosaurs are extremely popular right now, and you may have noticed a certain film franchise is back in the cinema, and we’ve found our new dino toys have sent shockwaves around our shop. Read on to explore new products that arrived in our toyshop in 2025.

New Crystal Art

We’ve stocked Crystal Art from Craft Buddy for many years and their popularity has only grown, especially as they’ve released more highly collectable kits, including the very popular Disney sticker collection. For those new to this great, relaxing hobby, crystal art kits allow you to create beautiful pictures by following the numbers.

Among the newest crystal art stickers, we have Harry Potter crystal art albums and stickers packs. Each album comes with six stickers and the crystal art tools to start your collection. Once you’ve finished those, we have sticker packs to keep adding to your album. Each pack includes three stickers, which you can swap with friends until your collection is complete.

Also in crystal art and brand new are the Disney Crystal Art pin badges. There are 15 to collect and create. They can then be worn or displayed beautifully at home. Duplicates make great gifts for friends and family.

Gus Fink Plushies

From a fond favourite to something completely new. This range has just arrived on UK shores in 2025 after finding lots of success in the United States. Gus Fink is an American artist and filmmaker known for his unique and creepy artworks. Whilst some people may find his brand of soft toys to be not to their taste, we know a few young customers who will go mad for these. They have just arrived in Pontypridd in August and going on history they may sell out quickly.

Deddy Bears

Sticking with the unusual and lovingly freaky, Deddy Bears are another soft toy collectible that will delight young fans of horror and halloween. A spooky take on the classic Teddy bear, these clip-on toys are popular with all ages. Each scary character comes with its own death story.

3D printed animals and dinosaurs

These brightly coloured collectibles have been super popular since they arrived in shop. Again, they are popular with all ages, and can be nicely displayed or played with. (Not recommended for toddlers) We have a variety of animals and dinosaurs to collect with movable limbs for repositioning.

Sylvanian Family

This is another brand that we’ve stocked for years but customers appreciate it when the newest range comes in. Established in 1985, new 40th anniversary additions will be on the market soon. Keep an eye on our social media channels and in store for when they arrive.

Currently on shelves, we have the new ‘Blooming Baby Friends Series’. These blind bags each contain a lovely figure to collect. There are 8 in this series, with the new series of collectable bags also due soon.

Jurassic World Rebirth official merch

Since the original Jurassic Park film, we’ve all been obsessed with dinosaur toys. Whether they are anatomically correct or fun imaginative creations, kids love to play with prehistoric creatures and imagine what they were actually like.

Alongside our other ranges of dinosaurs and other extinct animals, which we have stocked for many years, we now stock the official merchandise from the 2025 film, Jurassic World Rebirth. Take a look at these sound producing dinosaur toys representing the new genetically modified dinosaurs from the movie. We also stock Jurassic World Mash’ems, which have six small squishy figures to collect (age 4+)

But don’t worry if these dinosaurs are too scary; we also have some soft and cuddly dinosaurs and friends. These official merchandise are fantastic for the youngest of collectors. They are suitable from birth and made from recycled material.
