We have been making Easter Bonnets for many years and they certainly get a lot of attention in our toy shop. We update the designs each year to try and echo what the kids are into. They are mostly made with funky foam (£1.75 for a large sheet), felt (85p) plus feathers or tissue paper. We also stock child-size hats which make a good base for building a crafty bonnet.
